Robert Half is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join John Deere's team in East Moline. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Key Responsibilities:• Coordinate the procurement, expediting, and delivery of materials across multiple departments• Manage the movement of rejected materials back to the source• Recommend procedures for specific situations to maintain inventory accuracy and management• Identify and rectify the root cause of material shortages• Utilize the Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules• Process transactions for inbound/outbound materials• Audit material replenishment cycles and accuracy, and create material replenishment plans when necessary• Resolve inventory errors and expedite parts to ensure uninterrupted production• Work on critical shortage reports to ensure part availability• Implement the output from the engineering release and change management process.
